LUCKY Toor, founder of TGL Group.

Lucky graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. 

While attending university, he received a certificate in liberal arts as well as completing a concentration in Accounting within his business administration degree.  Lucky completed his CA articling period with D+H Group LLP in Vancouver whom he joined immediately after graduation.  He then went on to work with KNV Chartered Accountants in White Rock as a part of the taxation department.  In 2006, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and in 2007 he co-founded TGL Group Chartered Professional Accountants LLP (formerly Toor & Lally LLP and T&L Group LLP).  Lucky completed the CICA In-depth tax course in 2009. 

Lucky’s area of practice revolves around the small to medium sized owner manager and family owned businesses as well as professionals.  He thrives in helping those clients derive maximum value from their businesses.  In addition to being the tax partner at the firm, he is also responsible for providing accounting, assurance and business advisory services.  He has a wide array of experience dealing with individuals and small to medium sized businesses from various industries.  Lucky has a special interest in tax planning and corporate reorganizations and working with real estate investors.

Lucky is actively involved in the local community, most notably for coaching high school basketball teams and youth soccer teams in North Delta.  He was previously the co-host of a local ethnic television program (Punjabi Vibes on Shaw Multicultural Channel) for twelve years.  Lucky has many interests including dance and sports.  He was the co-founder and team captain of an award winning cultural dance team (VIBE Bhangra) that won numerous competitions throughout North America from 2001 to 2006.  Lucky enjoys playing various sports and spending time with his family and friends in his spare time.
